Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and increasing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - which includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. During treatment, the practitioner places their hands on the patient's body to tune in to the patient's natural cranial rhythms and release tension stored in this system, thereby optimizing the function of the central nervous system.
